Celebrity Cruises has recruited stars from a reality TV dating show for its “romance-packed” turn-of-year trade campaign.
Famous faces from E4’s Celebs Go Dating, which follows starlets on their quest to find “the one”, will help the line reward top-performing agents as part of its #CelebrityGoesDating promotion.
In a similar fashion to Celebrity’s Love Island-inspired campaign last year, agents will earn the chance to meet the likes of model Calum Best; Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson and Bobby Norris from The Only Way Is Essex.
Celebrity’s 100 top-selling travel consultants will be invited to “the hottest party the travel industry has ever seen” in London next April, where they will meet the stars of the campaign, which also features Celebs Go Dating receptionist Tom Read Wilson and radio DJ Sarah-Jane Crawford.
They will also win £500 in Celebrity Rewards points.
Five agents will have the added bonus of a dinner date to remember with Calum, Sam, Bobby, Tom and Sarah-Jane.
The campaign launched today (December 12) with a visit by some of the cast to Celebrity’s agent call centre.
Nicola McNeish, head of sales Celebrity Cruises UK & Ireland, said agents who sell the most and those who deliver the highest increase in sales across all Celebrity’s distribution channels will be wined and dined by the Celebs Go Dating stars.
Travel consultants should also keep an eye on Celebrity’s Facebook page for updates on how to bag a place at the end-of-campaign party and win £500 in Celebrity Rewards points.
“Matching the right guest to the perfect cruise is a skill so many of our agent partners score in all the time,” said McNeish.
“This turn-of-year we wanted to celebrate that moment when sparks fly with a special #CelebrityGoesDating campaign packed full of our love for our agent partners.”
To help support sales during wave, Celebrity is offering deals such as half-price cruises for second guests, free drinks packages and savings of up to £700.
