Independent agent Book in Style has launched its fourth store in what boss Andrew McKenna has described as “the hub of Lancashire”.
The north west agency chain’s Preston branch opened on Saturday (December 1) with mayor of Preston councillor Trevor Hart on hand to mark the occasion at St George’s Shopping Centre.
It will employ six staff and represents around £50,000 investment. Book in Style was founded in Southport before expanding to Formby and Leyland.
Besides a launch party complete with finger food, prosecco, a photo wall and children’s activities, there were also special launch discounts and a giveaway.
Book in Style chief executive McKenna said: “Book in Style is an independent travel agent and it is a north west company at its core so becoming a part of the Preston community was important to us as it’s the hub of Lancashire.
“Preston is a vibrant and diverse city, so we’re really looking forward to being a part of it and bringing the people of Preston the best deals possible on their holidays.
“As an independent travel agent, we don’t just sell our own packages, we take prices from everywhere to find you the best deal – we’re also the one and only place customers can purchase Jet2 holidays in the city centre, which allows us to bring customers even more fantastic holiday deals.”
