Royal Caribbean International has revealed a new Club Rewards mobile app and online trade hub for homeworking agents ahead of the wave booking period.
The app is free to download and allows agents to track, monitor and spend their Club Rewards by linking their Club Royal login credentials with the platform’s digital Mastercard.
Users can transfer their Club Rewards balance to their Mastercard directly within the app making rewards accessible and ready to spend in-store or online.
Royal is also offering triple rewards for the first 100 agents who download the app and make a booking. Travel consultants should email their booking reference to royalsalessupportuk@rccl.com
Agents can also be in with a chance of winning an Apple Watch by taking a picture of themselves using the Club Rewards app and uploading it to Royal’s social media channels (via the app) and tagging #WatchoutRoyal.
The deadline for both the competition submissions and claiming the triple rewards is 17 December.
Meanwhile, the line has launched a new online hub to support home-based agents aiming to be “a one-stop-shop” for helping them sell.
The platform includes brand news, sales campaigns and promotions and enables agents to access real-time, sales support via a live chat function. The hub also includes links to Club Royal training modules.
Hub members can also access exclusive Club Royal benefits and rewards for homeworkers. They include Pitch for Pounds – which launches on 1 January and gives agents the chance to win £400 marketing spend with Royal each quarter.
Downloadable gifs, banners and stills are all available on the platform and can be customised with each agent’s company logo and contact details.
Royal’s head of sales Torey Kings-Hodkin said: “Homeworking travel agents are responsible for a significant amount of our business, so it’s vital that they understand their value and know that we see them as an extension of our sales team.
“The Homeworkers Hub is an initiative that will help equip homeworkers with all the tools and know-how to effectively sell our holidays, while offering some fantastic, exclusive incentives along the way.
“It’s been an undeniably tough year for the industry – especially for independent homeworkers. I hope this additional support will greatly benefit homeworking agents as travel kicks back off in 2021.”
