At a media event in London last night, the group also revealed it was adding Salzburg and Alicante to its city break programme this week.
Meanwhile, Tui revealed it would double its capacity in Thailand and adding new hotels to meet "growing demand”.
Elsewhere, bosses noted Kenya bookings were performing particularly well, up 150%.
It came as Tui’s UK and Ireland managing director Neil Swanson admitted he was thankful the travel giant hadn’t boosted capacity for this summer, acknowledging the decision to do so by competitors such as easyJet holidays and Jet2 had resulted in a “lot of capacity in the market”.
“Jet2 and easyJet holidays increased massively, and we stayed broadly flat but that was the right decision,” he insisted.
New sales and marketing director Bart Quinton Smith, added “price sensitivity is key this year. People want deals, they want value.”
Swanson agreed there was likely to be a strong lates market this year, but he expressed his surprise at the number of customers who prefer to book early. “Some people are still booking far out, like two years in advance," he said.
