Hundreds of flights were cancelled in Japan as Tokyo was hit by a typhoon today, bringing with it heavy rain and winds.
Officials have now warned of landslides and flooding in the country.
Typhoon Mindulle made landfall at around 12.30pm local time in Tateyama city, around 50 miles southeast of Japan’s capital.
Some 400 domestic flights were cancelled - the majority of which had been going to and from Tokyo’s Haneda airport, the BBC said.
Narita International airport briefly closed its runways in the afternoon.
Japan Airlines has reportedly cancelled 185 domestic flights, while All Nippon Airways has cancelled 112 domestic flights.
