Gatwick is warning travellers to leave extra time to get to the airport over the Bank Holiday weekend as the express train service is suspended.
There will be no Gatwick Express service from Saturday April 30 until 4am on Tuesday May 3 as engineering work takes place between Clapham Junction and Selhurst.
The ongoing works will continue to disrupt services throughout May with amended services on May 8, 22 and 23. Further changes have been scheduled for both June and July.
A Gatwick spokesperson said: “If travelling to or from Gatwick by rail this Bank Holiday, passengers should check before they travel and allow additional time to get to the airport.
“While there will be plenty of alternative services to and from London via London Bridge to ensure passengers can get to their destination, it is important they plan ahead well in advance.”
