Jet2.com will offer two “exclusive” ski routes from Belfast international this winter after announcing the reintroduction of snow sports services from the Northern Irish terminal.
The low-cost carrier will offer flights to Verona for the first time as well as the Austrian city of Salzburg.
Verona will be operated from January 6 until the end of March, while Salzburg will begin a week earlier on December 30 and run until the same period.
The services, which will fly weekly on Saturday, see Jet2.com expanding its winter programme from Belfast further and now boasting around 70,000 seats on sale during the season.
Steve Heapy, chief executive said: “We are delighted to be opening up these fantastic ski destinations to ski and snowsports fans from Northern Ireland and further afield.
"With perfectly-timed weekend flights to Salzburg and Verona, we are giving skiers exclusive access to some of the very best ski and snow resorts in all of Europe from Belfast international.”
Graham Keddie, managing director of Belfast international said: “It’s fantastic to see Jet2.com continue their recent expansion drive from Belfast showing their commitment to the Northern Ireland market and strengthening their winter programme whilst ensuring maximum choice for local ski customers.”
