Most of the relatives of victims from the Malaysia Airlines MH17 crash have now had damages settled by the airline, the lawyer representing the victims has confirmed.
All 298 people onboard flight MH17 were killed when the plane was shot down by pro-Russian separatists over Ukraine.
Dutch media said there were no further details because both parties had agreed to secrecy, the BBC reported.
Airlines must pay damages of up to around £109,000 to victims’ families, regardless of the circumstances of a crash, under the Montreal Convention, which regulates air travel.
It came as Sunday marked the two-year anniversary of the crash, with a memorial service held for the victims.
