Monarch has increased its capacity for the upcoming ski season with two pairs of additional routes from Birmingham and Gatwick.
The Midlands airport will operate services to Salzburg and Turin while the low-cost carrier will fly routes to Lyon and Friedrichshafen from the London airport.
In addition, Gatwick will see added capacity to Geneva, Innsbruck and Grenoble with Birmingham and Manchester also running an increased service to the French skiing gateway.
Across the board more than 60,000 seats have been added by Monarch.
Further routes and flights for the carrier’s winter 2016-17 programme are due to be announced in the coming weeks.
Head of network development Marjan Schoeke said: “We are delighted to announce the release of additional flights and frequencies to our schedule for winter 2016-17.
“These additional routes provide our customers with 60,000 more seats to the most popular ski destinations. We continuously refine and develop our network strategy looking closely at where and at what time our customers want to fly.”
