NCL names new business development director

Foot will report into the line’s vice-president and managing director UK and Ireland, Nick Wilkinson.

The line said her appointment would “further strengthen” its growth in the UK a year on since launching its “premium all-inclusive” fare, increasing its ex-UK sailing capacity and the launch of new flagship Norwegian Bliss in April.

Foot has more than 30 years sales and travel experience and prior to her time at Groupon was UK regional sales director at Living Social Escapes.

She has also spent a number of years working for Tui for brands such as Sunsail, The Moorings and Le Boat.

Wilkinson said: “I’m thrilled to welcome Nicky to the team at Norwegian. Her extensive experience and strategic focus will ensure we continue to grow our UK and Ireland markets at a time when we are growing our fleet, with Norwegian Encore coming in 2019.”
