Four Britons are thought to be among six people who died when a seaplane crashed in Quebec’s North Shore region on Sunday.
The five passengers and a pilot were on an Air Saguenay sightseeing trip when the aircraft came down in good conditions in mountainous territory near Bergeronnes, about 440km northeast of Montreal.
Recovery efforts are being hampered by the lack of road access to the area with emergency teams having to parachute onto the crash site.
The Beaver seaplane is said to have taken off from Tadoussac on the north shore of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence.
