Grant Robbins has taken over the luxury sales manager role from Mark Reynolds, who left TTG on 13 September.
Former PE teacher Robbins joined Cook in 2012, initially as a rep in Spain and Greece.
Within three years he was managing 30 reps in various countries, including Poland.
Robbins was working as a partnerships manager in Peterborough, with six-month-old identical twins at home, when Cook collapsed.
“I read TTG when I was at Thomas Cook so I could keep on top of stories and, compared to the competitors, the website was easier to navigate. So I already had a good impression.
“I am excited and looking forward to looking after the key partnerships we already have and developing new relationships with contacts from my previous role.”
