Another overseas investor has taken a stake in Thomas Cook.
Ulyanovsk-based “Rodionova Lilia” has bought a 3.46% stake in Cook, according to a stock market filing on Wednesday (7 August).
The note provided no further detail on the named investor. Ulyanovsk is a city in western Russia, situated on the Volga river about 800km from capital Moscow.
Cook’s shares closed down 5% at about 9.4p on Wednesday after hitting a high of 11.64p earlier in the day.
It comes after Turkish holiday tycoon Neset Kockar, founder of Anex Tour, took a 6.71% stake in Cook last week, which was then extended to 8% days later.
