Thomas Cook has reportedly stepped up its search for a new chairman to replace Frank Meysman.
Meysman has been in post since December 2011 and oversaw Cook’s recovery from unprecedented financial turmoil.
Sky News reports Cook has enlisted Egon Zehnder International to identify potential candidates.
The firm offers global management consulting and executive recruitment services to large businesses.
Cook, Sky reports, has so far declined to comment.
It is understood Meysman could yet stay on into 2020.
