The 24-hour strike comes about after five days of talks failed to resolve a dispute between the company and the pilots’ union Balpa over a 1.5% payrise, the BBC reported.
Pilots have already gone on strike once on September 8 over the matter and further action is planned for September 29 and October 6.
The union is arguing that any pay rise should be in line with inflation which is currently at 2.9% as well as better travel facilities.
