United will welcome Cardiff City on 12 May as Solskjaer’s side continue to pursue a spot in the Premier League top four to secure their place in next season’s Champions League.
Cook said despite the highs and lows of his tenure, Solskjaer continues to enjoy the support of his compatriots, with Norwegian visitors to the Thomas Cook Sport website up more than 138% since he was appointed Man Utd manager.
Rob Slawson, head of Thomas Cook Sport, said: “It has been brilliant to see the support from Solksjaer’s hometown since his appointment and we are delighted to be able to provide many locals with the chance to head over to Manchester for a really important fixture.
“Scandinavians are a passionate group of football fans; each season we, with our partners Ving, provide more than 7,000 football trips from Norway to the Premier League. With Ole at the helm from the start of next season, we expect a high level of interest right from the fixture announcement in June.”
Thomas Cook Sport is the official travel partner of Manchester United.
