Jet2.com will operate 90,000 additional seats out of Stansted for the forthcoming summer and winter seasons.
The growth in capacity will be driven by the introduction of an additional aircraft at the airport from a July, giving it a total of 10 based there.
The decision will mean another 50,000 seats available for the summer and 40,000 for the winter, when a brand new route to Turin will be operated.
The summer season will see Jet2.com and sister brand Jet2holidays offer 33 destinations for the summer, with resorts in Lanzarote, Menorca and Corfu all benefiting.
Meanwhile, winter will see 26 destinations operated out of Stansted, including the new route to Turin.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive Steve Heapy said: “Just last week we announced how successful our first year at London Stansted has been, and we are delighted to be building on that with more good news today.
"The addition of a tenth based aircraft at London Stansted means we are creating even more new jobs in the local area, and are adding more choice, including the launch of a fantastic new ski route to Turin.”
