His appointment follows the departure of the short breaks specialist’s key account manager Claire Dutton, who left to join Shearings in September.
Cundall has worked for Super Break for 22 years, including seven years as a sales executive visiting agents and six years in a trade sales development role.
His most recent role before his promotion was head of partnerships.
Cundall will work alongside Super Break’s national sales manager Graham Balmforth and its sales team to continue to grow relationships with the operator’s multiple agency accounts.
His position will include responsibility for trade marketing, the office sales support team, brochures and social media.
Graham Balmforth, national sales manager at Super Break said: “Chris will be responsible for supporting the multiples and will look to identify new initiatives so that Super Break can continue to support trade partners with new products, promotions and marketing ideas to drive sales.
“He has worked in many departments within the business and his understanding of the travel trade and agents’ needs and wants will be invaluable in this role.”
