A delegation led by the British Hospitality Association (BHA) will say that they believe the media and the creative industries receive disproportionate attention from the department of culture, media and sport, while tourism is overlooked, The Sunday Times reported.
The BHS is demanding greater support and recognition of its contribution to the economy.
It will also call for a dedicated tourism minister and more talks on a key issues such as implementation of the living wage.
