Budget carriers will give Tunisia’s tourism industry a much-needed boost. But the fact the country’s hopes for an open skies agreement have been held up by Brexit-related delays is evidence of the myriad ways Brexit is stalling progress – even in a country that’s not in the EU.

 

Tunisia has worked hard to bring security up to scratch, replacing its three Ss mantra of “sun, sea and sand” with “security, safety and service”. What a shame Brexit is letting it down at this crucial stage in its efforts to grow tourism anew.
